Could central Texas support an MLB team?

There's been talk of the White Sox leaving and moving to Nashville. I can understand why they would leave. Reinsdorf is a terrible owner and he's cheap. Their stadium sucks and they wont get a new one, as Chicago care more about replacing Soldier Field. Also, the demographics of the south side of Chicago have changed alot in the last 50 years and they aren't really baseball fans. However, one problem with Nashville is that they have an NHL team and do a poor job of supporting it.

So, why not Central Texas? The population has boomed there in the last 20 years. There are more people that live in the Austin/San Antonio area than in most cities with an MLB team. Plus the demographics (lot of Hispanics) seem like it would be baseball fans. All they need is a stadium and transportation.
