Ted Lasso…I mean Jesse Marsch kicks off his Leeds United career leading the boys against Leicester City.

I’m sure the Foxes will win but I would truly love to see a new manager bounce and give us a little bit more breathing room in the relegation battle.

This has been a back and forth match so far. But we’ve yet to give up multiple goals and we’re 22:00 in so that’s an improvement over our most recent form.

Leeds have had a couple of good chances but Kasper Smeichel has been nothing short of fabulous for Leicester City.

Reece James back in the starting lineup. Hell yeah! Also, people at the club finally coming to their senses on Havertz as the guy up top. Lukaku has scored 3 in 4 games and now would usually be the time to start him, but Havertz has been so good lately. Injury/COVID is the only thing that has stood in his way at Chelsea. Hopeful he can get a good run of games to end the season and show his ability.

Mount doesn’t deserve to start right now. I know he’s been injured but his season has been very up and down for him. He shouldn’t just get the benefit of the doubt because he has a bright future.

Burnley doing what they do and not allowing goals, but think Chelski get one in the end. Could see them bring on Lukaku and Werner at 65-70 to change up the attack

I hate playing Burnley at home. But they have the best way to beat Chelsea if other teams would ever follow it. Just park the bus and make Chelsea break you down, which they struggle to do.

Shoutout to Round Rock. At a kid tournament down here and their multipurpose complex is top notch.
Windy AF, but a great facility.

Game over and back at the hotel for the Liverpool game. So many goals so far today. Nuts day.

Nice.

Jordan Henderson in his pre-match programme notes:⁣

“If Andriy Yarmolenko is involved I have no doubt that our crowd will show solidarity with him. If he’s not yet ready then as club captain, I would like to let him know - everyone at Liverpool FC stands with him.⁣

“Today is a day when the Premier League as a whole will demonstrate its support for Ukraine and as a club we are more than happy to play our part in that.⁣

“I’m well aware that Andriy was given compassionate leave by his club after the invasion of his homeland, Ukraine. It could be that this fixture comes too soon for him, but I would like nothing better than to see him back in action at Anfield.”

Given the discussion on this board this week, it seems expected, no?

sometimes you just have to survive the 90, take your three points and get the hell on out of there.

Thought we looked very strong in the first. A bit of a drop off in the second. Couldn’t have been too upset with a tie.

Oh, I would have been upset, but it wouldn't have been unjust.
