Dallas anesthesiologist’’s federal trial for tampering with IV bags

This case has been in the news lately. While he’s considered innocent until proven guilty, it’s not a good look. I imagine that 99.9% of docs are law abiding, but the feds consider him one of the 0.1%. The alleged incidents caused cardiac emergencies and allegedly killed a fellow anesthesiologist that took home a bag to rehydrate after an illness. I’ve heard the feds have a high conviction rate. Do any doctors or lawyers on here have any thoughts on this case?
