So facts, my daughter had a GPA of 3.8 at a competitive private high school in Houston, ACT of 28 and didn't get into UT. The ACT score is average for UT. The GPA is good enough for honor roll at her school and at some shitty public school she would top 7 percent. Also founded her own jewelry company, four year letterwomen in sports and national charity league.

My wife and I Graduated from UT, I walked on and lettered in football and had reconstructed ACL while on the team. I have given six figures to the business school in the last few years and about 50k to the athletic program.

Other kids with similar stats got in. My daughter didn't. What the **** is wrong with our university. It isn't just me I realize but our university is disenfranchising one of its best assets, its alumni.

My daughter will likely now go to pre vet at Texas a and m and along with many other texas alumni kids.

This school can't get out of its own way.
