Texas has reeled in a talented DB as Tyler John Tyler DB Kitan Crawford has committed to the Longhorns on Friday evening.
There were rumors swirling earlier this afternoon that the playmaking DB had made a decision but Crawford denied those claims initially. He made it official on Friday night, giving the UT staff a pledge.
The 5-11, 190-pound Crawford becomes the Longhorns' seventh commitment in the 2020 recruiting class and he's the first pure defensive player on the board. One of the state's most dynamic athletes, Crawford was actually recruited on offense by several programs but Texas plans to bring him in as a defensive back prospect.
