Okay, sorry for the second OT post today, but I'm going through the muck today.
Does the board have any recommendations for Debt Relief programs. I'm currently in a program with NFDM and I pay a single monthly payment that is disbursed to my creditors monthly. They negotiate low to no interest rates. My payment is simply out of my budget. The same non-profit referred me to Lighthouse Financial Group. They take a Debt settlement is an approach to debt reduction in which we negotiate a reduced balance with your creditors that will then be regarded as payment in full.
Are there other options to consider? I'm just trying to improve my cash flow while doing as little damage as possible to my credit score, which is already shit. I just know I'll need to buy a car in a few years and want to qualify for that.
