Democracy hangs in the balance. No kidding. Durbin just said that. So if a duly elected President makes a Supreme Court appointment like the Constitution compels him to do it will be a direct threat to our democracy. It seems everything the Dems don't like is a "threat to our democracy." I think their definition of "democracy" is having themselves in a position to call the shots and control the outcomes on every issue. There is no underhanded strategy they will not pursue to get their way when they are in a position to do so (remember Obamacare?) and then they want to cry about the Republicans ignoring "custom" when they are in a position to do so. Impeachment? Seriously? Schumer and Pelosi are laughable in their outrage and tantrum throwing. Screw them. They start these wars. Let them enjoy them.
