Majority Leader Reid opened a Pandora's box when he ended the filibuster for judicial appointments in 2013. Many of us warned you of where it would lead.
Then, in 2018, we warned you not to filibuster Gorsuch and force McConnell to end the filibuster on SCOTUS. Reid opened the door, you signaled opposition to Gorsuch, the nuclear option was used, and now it only takes 50.
I said in 2018, "don't filibuster Kavanaugh because R's will have the votes to end SCOTUS filibuster for a Kavanaugh/Kennedy trade. They will not have the votes in a hypothetical Conservative/Ginsburg trade which could happen in this Presidency". You ignored my analysis and my warnings again.
Had the D's not threatened to filibuster Kavanaugh, the SCOTUS filibuster would still be in place, and there is no way R's would have the votes to end the filibuster to replace Ginsburg with Bryant. The strategic blunders have been routine and predictable by Reid/Schumer. Democrats in the Senate need better leadership.
In 2017 I warned you about the filibuster over Gorsuch and how it would impact Ginsburg.
