Erin Hogan last night brought up the fact that UT did not put out the notice that Pierce had been officially fired on Monday but that Bohl got the info from Pierce. That makes sense to me. I believe CDC's plan was not to announce anything until Tuesday after the final game of the CWS and the Aggys came home. I also think CDC knew Schlossnagle was coming no matter what happened Monday night and didn't want to interfere with Schlossnagle's chance at winning the CWS. Hopefully somebody at the presser today will ask about the timing so this can all be cleared up.
