Allen's Jonathan Simms who ran a 45.12 400 and split 44.78 on the 4x400 last summer finished 8th in district yesterday in 53.04. I don't know if he was sick or injured or what, but i was looking forward to seeing him rewrite the record books at state. Fortunately he's just a junior, so he was one more season to do it.
