The last 7 days have been catastrophic for the Harris campaign.

First - It started with her releasing agenda items aimed at providing a $25,000 tax credit to first time home buyers, and then it snowballed with her comments about price gouging and targeting grocery stores. Neither of these items resonate with Americans. Most Americans view the price gouging stuff as nonsense and most young Americans realize that a $25,000 tax credit for first time homebuyers will be inflationary. The betting markets swung by about 5 points in the days following these policy announcements

Next - The Democratic National Convention has not gone well. Moderates didn't want to hear about how everyone is suffering and miserable and that "change" is needed from the party that has been in power for 12 of the last 16 years. Rather than outlining a vision for the future, they have focused on what is wrong with America. They are in power now, and Americans know that. Democrats have unintentionally reminded voters that they have been in power and that they have done a bad job.

Betting markets have swung 10% since the release of the price gouging plan and are back to favoring Donald Trump.
