I was at the game and the boos from the crowd were the loudest I had ever heard at DKR from the bad PI call. I understand the folks that are upset about the students throwing the bottles on the field, however, that only happened after it was clear what a BS call it was when the replay was shown.
If the students don’t throw the bottles, I don’t think the refs take another look to overturn.
Also, the crowd at DKR yesterday was LOUD! I was very proud of our fans and how energetic they were.
Everyone is always talking about DKR not being an intimidating venue. Personally, I didn’t mind the bottles being thrown. I thought it added to the intimidation effect and showed that we weren’t going to take the BS call. It was awesome to see that type of energy and desire to help the team.
It was a tough loss, but damn our fans showed out. Season isn’t over.
