First off happy New Years. There have been a few bowl cancellations as expected. Let's say a coach has a clause in his contract that says "if you play in a bowl game, you get x amount of a bonus." If your team qualifies but the game is later canceled, how does that work? Does it depend on how it's written in the contract and has to specify if the game is actually played or not? I know nothing about contract law or if exceptions are made for unusual circumstances (like a pandemic). Thanks.
