If you are dripping ten teaspoons per minute times 60 minutes times 24 hours times 8 days comes to 115,200 teaspoons, or 432 gallons.

Shouldn't be much on your bill.

Plumber told me it has to be more than a drip. Couple of faucets on more of a steady stream.

I had Pedro Serrano come in and do some kind of ritual that he said "would keep water from getting sleepy". Seemed to work. No busted pipes or pool equipment. Didn't cost much either, just a bucket of chicken.
