I fear all of this Black Lives Matter and all of these protests will just make the matter worse. A young black man will not get the message I did, which saved my ass I am sure. I was told to be very respectful of cops, to do exactly as they said, and to obey the law. I had a friend who was white get taken to a parking garage in Dallas by some cops and get the shit kicked out of him before they released him with no charges. It happens. Dirty men in all fields, but fortunately few of them.
Unfortunately the message being sent by all of this crap is to film cops and resist them and possibly set them up. Criminals are thinking this way. Just a sad and sorry state of affairs. If the man in Minnesota was white no one would care.
