I keep hearing the “port of entry” theory for most drug border crossings.
This argument is driven from “on record arrest and drug seizure / apprehension” records, is it not?
I hope someone will correct me if Im wrong.
My question is; I’m curious what everyone else’s best guess is on (drug seizures -v- drugs missed) that are crossing our border?
My best guess, and I’ve got nothing to support this guess on, is the following;
5 % - Caught
95% - Missed
This may be too generous in our policing success.
If those numbers are close; are we content to only continue policing the areas where we are catching only 5 % of drugs, that are breaching our borders ?
