There's a report (reports?) that Texas commitment Ethan Pouncey could be a guy to watch for a possible decommitment. I hit up Pouncey this morning and he tells me he's still solid to Texas. In fact, Pouncey seemed surprised that I (and others) were even asking about his status.
"I’m still solid. I’ve had a few people ask me and I don’t know why," Pouncey said. "I haven’t done or said anything to show I’m not still 100% committed."
Pouncey is out for the year after trying to play with a torn labrum. He was supposed to have surgery, but told me today that because of the cost of the surgery, he's actually going to enroll at Texas in January so he can have it done by UT doctors as soon as he gets in the program.
