CATL is saying this, and they own 30% of the worldwide market for car batteries. And since the battery is by far the biggest factor in the overall cost of EV's (around 35%), we will likely see massive price wars in the coming months/years. Once EV's become cheaper to purchase--they are already much cheaper to own--it really will be the beginning of the end for ICE manufacturers.
