F250 or 2500 Diesel Truck For Work

Likely need a truck. Will be towing. An F150 or 1500 would tow just fine but I'll be driving long distances so figure I want to go diesel.

Do I need to be as worried about mileage? Some of these trucks are still 50k+ with 100k miles.

No big deal for a Diesel right?
