Members of this board, however, have called for his head because he predicted between 100-200k deaths by August; with mitigation. Some said he and Gates should be locked up. Well, we’re sitting at almost 64k on the eve of May... and his original model was through August. Anyone editing posts yet?
let’s look at the data: on March 31st we had 5,145 deaths; 30 days later, we have 63k+
If we cut the current loss of life in half (averaging the last 6 weeks/day) for the next 4 months, then we’re still looking at circa 192k deaths by the end of July... perhaps just a bad flu season? Except that the record deaths for 1 flu season in the past 40 years was between 60-80k in 2017.
The “revised” social-distancing models (post-Fauci predictions; 100k-200k deaths) of 65k will be passed tomorrow; and we’ll top the low end of Fauci’s original model in about 18-21 days (100k fatalities) on the extremely conservative side.
let’s revisit the math: once again, on March 31st the US had 5k+ deaths and on April 30th had 63k+ deaths. 58k in 1 month... 1 month!!!
let’s extrapolate that basic data using a very conservative approach:
By the end of August (averaging 1/2 of the current death rate 58k/mo (therefore, 29k/mo x3= 67k); setting a death rate... starting this moment, we’d be looking at 130k deaths in 5 months (April-August). We’ll have something within the original Fauci estimate of 100-200k deaths... assuming a 50% projection of the Fauci’s original estimation.
As far as Fauci is concerned, where are all of the posters who called him a fraud? Where are all of the posters who said he needed to face criminal charges?
He has served 4 Republican administrations, and 2 Democratic administrations. Let the man do his ****ing job!
