I was in CC this weekend. I looked at the CC Caller Saturday and noticed the front page of the sports section was a half page pic of the aTm QB with a big article about the Bama game that day....In the entire sports section there was not one mention of the Texas - TCU game....zippo! Then the Sunday paper comes and on page one is the big story about the # 23 aTm loss to # 1 Alabama.....I had to go to page 5 in the last 3 inches to see that they in fact did report that Texas had beaten TCU.
The entire Coastal Bend doesnt even know there is another school in Texas except aTm...amazing!
Go to HEB and see all the Aggie shit! most players get into jr college or go to Kingsville for school or TAMCC, its so Aggie like a that school its unreal, I call then the Aggie Seagulls", just because they are on a little piece of land by the bay, its a island, when I grad there it was CCSU, which was a fine school, really everyone's leaving here, so many homes for due to taxes, drinking water, windstorm insurance and moving to Apt, so the house market is off the scale, a lady who lives by herself and works all day got a water bill for 1500 for the month, along with 1000 more and the city said it was computer glitch that takes 2 weeks to figure out, crooked politicians etc, my advice is don't move here but, its cheaper here than SA or Austin, we get Aggy recruiters all over here at FB and Vets Memorial and Calallen now, Texas recruiters rarely come here I guess cause of better talent elsewhere, believe it ! We got the best Academic grade in the whole state and the FB players go to a lesser jr college that a big one such as Texas, they all go to A&M cause its easy to get into, in other words they bend the rules, my dog could get into A&M if he had a SSN
I stay here off and on cause of my Drs and the fishing, if not for that I would be gone, its hard to find good Drs and mine was the White House cardiac surgeon and the best voted by his peers in Texas and in Texas Monthly, cool guy from Argentina I believe, , he doesn't dress to impress or throw that rich shit at ya or stuck up, he wears then gaucho shirts , looks like fruit vendor but, very smart Has had same Heart team for 20 something yrs and its very hard to get on that team, probably the best thing in CC, hell, 75% of CC is still alive cause of that man
God forgot this place I think! Its like living in Nuevo Laredo without the Cartel dead guys hanging from the overpass.....but, we got some good Tacos and Mex food here and fresh seafood and cheap gas, Fire Services are excellent, police are like any other town, they are on a Radar kick with unmarked cars here and pot holes all over the city and drainage probs, but we got a fing Base Ball team that Nolan Ryan came in and sold CC a bill of goods , he's not a pitcher no more , he's a swindler
