We're down to 4 power conferences. Each conference has 16 teams. Pretty much everyone will have a watered down schedule I know we did. And you combine that with an expanded playoff and now teams like Indiana, SMU, and Boise State make the playoffs. One day a school like this is going to make it all the way to the final 4 that's great as long as they don't play us 😊

There's a lot of young coaches who I think are up and coming stars the next generation. Most of the playoff teams were guided by younger fellas. SMU, Arizona State, Boise, Oregon, and Notre Dame pay attention to them.

I'm visualizing this. It's 11/1/25 in Austin Texas. GameDay is there. Chris Fowler is primed and ready to scream at the first first down in the game.

The undefeated and #1 ranked Texas longhorns are taking on the undefeated and #2 ranked and drum roll..... hold your breath,..... Vanderbilt commodores!!

Hey if the next qb can run out of the pocket we should be there and in 220 days were going to kick their *** and as always

My final random thought of the season, well, until I think of a new last random thought is that the DLs and RBs are still our weakness. I have more confidence in Baker developing and molding our new young DLs into a viable playoff calibur unit than the RBs. Will anybody emerge to be a dominant RB? From the limited observation I have seen, I don’t believe Baxter is a true 5*. Maybe a mid 4*. Blue was our only real impressive wow type RB. But, his fumbles negated his effectiveness. Wisner/Gibson are good hard nosed runners, that is as far as I will go. RBs still a question mark, imho.
