I think it’s interesting how people react to losing. Some seek blame, I am probably one of the ones that get a bit Pollyanna about it and figure it will be better next time but don’t dwell, and those who let it eat them inside until they have a chance to win again.

Sark is the 3rd type.

If you think you are hurting tonight, seeking to blame our stupid coach for that highly questionable call, just remember he is hurting worse than you. A lot worse. The kids are hurting worse than you. A lot worse. The good news is we have dogs on this team who are coming back to stamp Texas name in the history books again, come hell or high water. They have unfinished business.

I am bummed, but this is so much better than 2020 when I watched a good team tear itself apart while its leader failed to lead. Now we have something we can be proud to root for, and no one can say we didn’t belong after this game.

I don’t know how you guys are doing on a daily basis in your job because we aren’t on TV weekly risking it all, but Sark is going to get his or ****ing die trying. He literally putting it out there every week and is not going to be satisfied until he holds that trophy. And I can easily get behind that.

No excuses. It was there two years in a row and we couldn’t take it. But we are on the doorstep (as Bum once said) and I personally believe Sark will kick the ****ing door in.

So let it hurt. Remember we aren’t aggy and we smoked them in their own house. In fact, we went 3-0 against our most hated rivals. We won the first home playoff game, and came a good kicker close to an SEC championship. We are going to send a ton of kids to the league to root for and get some real badasses to take their place.

TL;DR Texas is back. And we aren’t going anywhere for a while.
