If you like good blues, soul, rock music all in one band/show make sure you make it a priority to see this band live.
First the band: 2 drummers, 3 back-up singers, 2 lead guitarists, 3 piece horn section along with keyboard and bass players. Of this large band, 5 different folks sang lead at one point or another during the show. Absolutely, one of the tightest bands I have ever seen and being 60 I have been to many concerts. The drum solo with both players was unique.
Lead guitarist, Derek Trucks is AMAZING. And, his wife Susan Tedeschi is a solid lead guitarist in her own right.
Lead singer, Susan Tedeschi is a cross between Bonnie Raitt in her prime as well as…it’s tough to say but she sang soft blues, southern rock and a Led Zeppelin song. Her voice is beyond AMAZING.
