I’ve recently(year ago) got into Catfish fishing. Man it’s fun reeling in the bigger guys. Definitely different than fishing for bass, specs or reds. I really want to head out to CC and do some bull red fishing I assume that’s coming to and end soon and flatboys will start running more.

You need to fish the Laguna Madrer under the bridge JFK and to the south along the banks or if ya want the big ones go to PA..

No sir, the run has only just begun. Mullet started south earlier this week and as the mullet go, so do the bullies. Grab you a few silver spoons or finger mullet if you prefer bait and have a blast till early nov usually.

If you like the beach, guys are wrecking their river rods between the 1st & 2nd bar on bulls and lingering jacks right now. Last few times I was on PINS the low tide sucked out to damn near the 2nd bar. The beach looked a lot like it did in the mid 80s with 75-100yds of sand between water and dunes.
