Florida State vs Louisville

A Texas/Louisville bowl game would be fun and I'd bet a popular pick by bowl matchup folks if it presents itself.

Are you watching the game or being your usual smart a$$?
At the gym doing stairmaster watching the game and giving you sh!t for being Captain Obvious.

Are you wearing just the cape today or the tights as well? =)roll

I'm sorry. But, it came off as condescending. If that wasn't your intent. I apologize.

Sarcasm and wit (even if it's just half of one) doesn't translate well via message boards. Good rule of thumb going forward, unless I start a conversation with something like "let's get serious for a minute" then it's safe to assume I'm going to busting someone's balls a tad. No harm intended though.

Blame god. He made me this way.

Not exactly on point, but it warms my heart that Tennesee is putrid garbage. Maybe they and Georgia can have a competition to see who can fall farther in the polls after each win.

Louisville is sending a message. Wow

Only person happier than Bobby Patrenio right now is Tom Herrman

Obviously the QB is the biggest reason the are dominant but I noticed Charlie recruited most of their starters.

The way Louisville played today-- houston doesn't stand a Prarie dogs chance.
I have to agree. Louisville really impressed me today. I saw Fla St. Play last week and I honestly thought they would beat Louisville, dumb prediction considering I hadn't seen Louisville play until today, I just assumed they weren't all that.

I sure am glad I didn't pick FSU to go the playoffs.

And I tried to tell everyone on here to watch Louisville but noooooooooo nobody listened to me.

At this point, it's a mix ... on offense the starters are 6 Petrino recruits to 7 Strong recruits (UofL's depth chart lists 13 positions: 3 WR's, 1 FB, 1 HB, 1 TE, 1 QB, 1 RB and 5 OL), and on defense the starters are: 5 Petrino recruits and 6 Strong recruits.

But even though the numbers are close to equal, what cannot be discounted is the fact that Strong's success at UofL strengthened UofL's recruiting ties in Florida. Even though Jackson liked Petrino's reputation as a QB guru, it certainly helped UofL a great deal that another Miami-area QB (Teddy Bridgewater) had just come through UofL and had been an NFL first round draft pick.

Petrino is a hell of a coach. Not a good human being, but on the field you can do a lot worse.
