We beat OU and Georgia, a team you thought we had zero chance against. We were in the Big XII title game and won the Sugar Bowl. So we’ll go ahead and be happy, bitter obsessed aggy loser.

No arguments here. SEC seems to do well in early non conference, but underperforms in most bowl seasons. Not sure what to make of it.

Nonconference more telling than Bowls. Some teams don’t take bowls seriously unless it’s a playoff.

Also, sec had a playoff team and 3 NY6 bowl berths, more than any other league. That means two things -

1. Tougher bowl opponents.
2. Generally SEC teams playing up in bowls. For example, UF was somewhere around 6th in SEC. played Big Ten #3 michigan. 10th place Aub playing Purdue 5th place tie in Big Ten.

Dude... Y’all seriously need to get off the SEC dick. The only reason the SEC appears to have tougher bowl opponents than anyone else is because y’all typically schedule patsies in your OOC to pad your schedule.

The bowl opponents are tougher, because the SEC is facing actual opponents... to an extent, because the SEC is still the only conference who chooses for their schools what bowl to play in (except for the tie-ins). They can manipulate their bowl schedules this way.

How did “playing up” in your bowls work for you this season? Hell, how does it work for you any bowl season? The SEC seems to always get more teams into bowls (back to those weak OOC schedules) and rarely do the team dominate their bowl games. Seems like the SEC is always around .500 in bowl games. Not very dominating...

You know what is dominating? The B12 went 3-1 head-to-head against the SEC in bowl games.

Let me ask this as well. Has an actual team said “Man we didn’t want to be here so we sucked on purpose” or is it just fans and media saying it because they were embarrassed about their prediction? Yep, only 8 conference games which allows 3 patsies OOC every year per team keeping all the SEC records better, artificially inflating rankings and creating a feedback loop when they play each other. Plus the shameful November weekend where they all play high schools for the blind to climb the polls. That is just shameful. Plus the cherrypicking of bowl games.

The SEC is nauseating and dishonest. And all the fans of other teams slobbing Bama for self pride are pitiful.

I literally groaned out loud when the aggies started chanting “SEC! SEC! SEC!” In their bowl game when they were beating up on NC State... It’s freaking NC State, and aggies were acting like it was some type of accomplishment. What a joke.

I have an aggie friend who says shit like, “We are SEC!” I just roll my eyes. How sad it must be to have to boast about other teams accomplishments, because you have none yourself.
