I'm told by a very reliable source close to the situation that LB Erick Fowler passed all his summer school courses and now only needs approval from the NCAA Clearinghouse. Fowler took his last test on Tuesday and got official words of his results on Thursday evening.
A five-star prospect out of Manor, Fowler was the Longhorns' highest-rated signee in the 2016 recruiting class. Assuming he gets approval from the Clearinghouse soon (big assumption, I know), he should be officially joining the program in the very near future.
