Sharp Money: The public has been hammering Baylor at at basically at 3:1 ratio of Texas betters per the Spread, but the line has only moved in favor of the public by a half point. To me, this line seemed screwy to begin with, like maybe the sharps knew something the rest of us didn't. The fact that it has held up even with volume coming on the other side makes you think that more big volume from single betters is on the Texas side.
Texas Football Breaks out the Stats on D'Onta Foreman

Foreman Chasing 1,000
• A native of Texas City, Texas, D'Onta Foreman is looking to become the first Longhorn since 2007 to record a 1,000-yard rushing season. He enters Saturday's game with 855 rushing yards this season on 141 carries.
• There have been 22 players in school history to reach the 1,000-yard plateau, but nobody since Jamaal Charles did so in 2007.
• Just four Longhorns (a combined eight times) have accomplished a 1,000-yard rushing season since 2000.

Other notes ...
- Keep an eye on the offensive line, as our own Jason Suchomel reported, Texas could be moving Jake McMillon to LG and sending Patrick Vahe to the bench. It makes more sense to me to leave McMillon in at center.
- This isn't the only personnel move to note. We'll all be anxious to see which linebackers and DBs roll out with the first group versus Baylor.
- John Burt only played four snaps versus Kansas State, can he work his way back into some sort of meaningful rotation this season? An uptick in snaps would be nice versus Baylor.
- Speaking of WRs, who's going to cover Baylor WR KD Cannon? If it's John Bonney, Texas is in big, big trouble.
- Could Malik Jefferson start the game on the bench? Even if he doesn't, Texas fans are sure to see at least some sort of new rotation involving higher percentage reps for Tim Cole, Edwin Freeman and Jeffrey McCulloch.
New reports coming out from the Wall Street Journal are detailing the nasty behind-the-scenes of the Baylor Regents' penultimate meeting with Art Briles, second only to eventual contract-settlement talks post-canning.
And I'll say the Briles truthers are posers as "Baptists" much more than the Texas A&M corps of cadets is posers as military. And at least the Aggies and the corps don't do any harm; they provide ammo for jokers and jeers but they don't represent evil. The Briles truthers, however, are empty souls attached to deceitful exoskeletons. Crackly shells of people.
"I delegated down, I know I shouldn't have." - a reportedly tearful Art Briles to the Baylor Regents in May per the WSJ; presumably upon explaining how a reported 17 sexual assaults among a reported 19 of his players at Baylor got slipped under the rug. It was a "tearful" Art Briles reportedly answering questions to stone-faced board of regents about a reported four gang rapes and more.
And we begin to realize he probably wasn't/isn't sorry for the victims. He was/is sorry that what happened happened because it wrecked his career. More importantly, we begin to realize that delegation "down" likely means to people within his own coaching staff. A coaching staff that remains on payroll at Baylor, implementing and utilizing Briles' signature offense.
That's real life.
THIS IS GAME DAY.
