We have the kind of skill players we haven't since Colt and Vince were here. OK is not unbeatable. This year it's us

TX 42
OK 24

That's right I said it and as always

Everyone thinks it's goi g to be a close game. I don't think so. It may end up a blowout by either team. We'll see.

Here’s the problem I’m seeing with your hugely lopsided prediction. Both teams need to establish a run game. OU has been pretty good against the run, UT hasn’t. If OU gets Brooks off to a good start and forces UT to bring a safety down, Rattler will have a field day. If UT establishes a run game and forces OU to keep a safety in the box can Thompson exploit OU with his arm? I don’t think he can consistently, he’s not very accurate. Bottom line imo, who establishes a run game.
On a side note I’m reading where we may get our safety Yell back this game as well as our linebacker Stutsman. Yell’s by far our best safety and Stutsman a true freshman who getting a lot of playing time, tough against the run.Your left tackle Jones is going to have a long day against Bonito

Yeah, Bonito vs Thompson is a major mismatch. I would imagine us giving him help with a tight end most of the game.

OU got away from the trey counter against KSU and ran alot of zone and boot running plays, This opened up the running game. I think he'll build off the zone and boot and try to get some double moves open up downfield against Texas

Casey is going to have to make them pay with his arm and legs for us to have a chance. I expect Sark to use a bunch more different formations and motion for this game than what he's shown in the past. If OU is going to rush their LB's all game long that's going to leave Bijan and/or Keilan open on wheel routes. OU's LB's can't keep up with our RB's in space.

45-28 Texas

I'll say 31-30 Sooners on a last second, 52-yarder FG from OU kicker Gabe Brkic.

Longhorn faithful have their hearts broken once again. :)

Well what you said may be true but I'm going to have some fun. As long as the good guys win I'm happy.

It opened at OU -3 1/2 and that's where it is currently. I bought a point and took Texas at +4 1/2
Interesting that the Vegas Line isn't moving even though 75-80% of the money has been on UT. As for a prediction close game with the score being 41-34 somebody.

Our linebackers haven't been worth a crap at covering wheel routes at all this year. if I'm Sark I run it 10 times Saturday.

The OL will have to play a few levels above their ability for Texas to have consistent offensive success.

There are two matchups that I'm fearful of...OUs blitz package vs. our OL and Riley's ability to create matchup issues with their TEs vs. our LBs/Safeties.

If the OL and LBs can take their level of play up a notch, then I like our chances. If they play at or below their level then we are in serious trouble.

I think OU takes this one, 34-24

TX gets to the edge on O and extends a few series with big plays by getting the ball to its playmakers Keilan and Whittington.

TX wins 41-31.

If any of you boys need to borrow my old Johnny Paycheck records tomorrow about 2:30 P.M. let me know, they’re good to listen to when crying in your beer. Don’t ask me how I know

Well I have some more bad news boys, looks like Marcus Major has been cleared to play this weekend and traveled with the team so we have another rb in the mix Saturday.
