7:00 a.m. - Parking Lots open
7:00 a.m. - State Fair of Texas fairgrounds open
8:00 a.m. - ESPN College GameDay broadcast LIVE from Cotton Bowl Plaza outside Gate A
8:00 a.m. - Midway, Tower Building, and outdoor concessions open
8:30 a.m. - Ticket resolution locations open between Gates A & B and outside Gate J
8:30 a.m. - Team bus arrival – Cheer on the Longhorns as they arrive on Coliseum Drive and make their way near Gate L!
9:00 a.m. - Gates Open
11:00 a.m. - Kickoff
Mobile Ticketing
Please make sure you download your mobile tickets AND add your tickets to your digital wallet prior to arrival at the State Fair. Do NOT screenshot your mobile tickets. Fans who need gameday assistance with their tickets can visit the Ticket Resolution locations between Gates A & B or outside Gate J beginning at 8:30 a.m.
Fairgrounds Entry & State Fair of Texas
The Cotton Bowl is located inside the grounds of the State Fair of Texas. Fairground entrances and coupon booths will open at 7 a.m. and metal detectors will be in place. Your mobile tickets for the AT&T Red River Showdown can be used for admission to the fairgrounds.
State Fair of Texas food and ride coupons are available to purchase in advance.
Face masks are required while indoors on the fairgrounds.
Gate Entry
Gates to the Cotton Bowl will open at 9 a.m. All fans regardless of age must have a ticket to attend the game.
As you approach your assigned gate, open your mobile ticket in your digital wallet and present it at your gate. Mobile tickets will be scanned and you will be on your way.
-Physical pass-outs will be issued at Gates A & G at halftime (with re-entry required through those gates)
-Recommended ADA Gate entry points are Gates C & J
Parking & Rideshare
Parking Lot Directions
Parking can be accessed at Gates 5, 6, 8, 10 and 11. To park, fans will be required to show their mobile ticket. Parking is $20 per car (daytime parking only). Fans are encouraged to use credit/debit cards or Apple/Google Pay, but cash will also be accepted for parking.
Designated rideshare drop off/pick up will be located inside Gate 5, located at Grand Ave and S. 2nd Ave.
Masks required to ride the DART
Getting to and from the AT&T Red River Showdown is easy by riding the DART. Face masks are required to ride the DART.
ESPN College Gameday LIVE from The State Fair
ESPN College GameDay will broadcast live from Cotton Bowl Plaza outside Gate A beginning at 8 a.m. Join Rece Davis, Kirk Herbstreit, Lee Corso, Desmond Howard, David Pollack and more as they preview the AT&T Red River Showdown and all the best games across the country. It will mark the 18th time College GameDay will be on hand for a Texas game and seventh time it has been at the State Fair.
