There are to many to list it would take to long so this time I will leave it at two. The best ones seem to be when were snatching victory from the jaws of defeat like from 1989 to'91, we won those three games by a combined total of 8 points. But we put some beat downs on em in 1981 and our nc season in 2005. In 1979 we kept Billy Sims from being a two time Heisman winner I was in the stands for that one. So without further ado

The greatest single play in RRR history 1994 Stoney Clark's stop on fourth and goal. Final score TX 17 OK 10

Greatest upset win last year

2. 1977 TX 13 OK 6 First win over the hated Barry Switzer. Earl Campbell's Heisman season. A nasty, ruthless defensive struggle that day, we lost two qb's in the first half, they lost their te as well. Back then the Cotton Bowl had astro turf and it was 90+ and humid as well. But Earl Campbell was the man of the hour that day. He scored the game's only td on a 24 yard run. In the second half he was not going to be denied. Late in the game with TX ahead 13-6 OK had it 4th and two on the TX 7 they went for it and we stopped them one yard short. Johnny Johnson made the game saving tackle matter of fact he knocked himself out of the game on that play. At that point Earl took over. He ran over tacklers, broke others, and we ran out the clock.

1. 2008 TX 45 OK 35 Personal memories the game started at 9 am out here. I got off work at 11:30 the night before no worries. I got up at 5:30 showered, eat breakfast and watched gameday for three hours leading up to the game and I don't even like gameday :) Man I was pumped I knew from the pre season we were going to roll in 2008. OK came into the game #1 they had the best OK qb I ever saw in Sam Bradford. But we had Colt. I've never seen an RRR game where both teams had great qb's who played great that day. Bradford was great that day but this was imo Colt's finest hour in burnt orange and we were not going to be denied that day. I never saw a TX receiver have as great a game as Jordan Shipley did that day. In large part I judge a horn's career but what did he do against OK and on this day JS and CM were magnificent. When Jordan took that return to the house I knew we were going to win. What was it? 14-3, 21-10, 28-20, and finally 30-28 before we took the lead for good. Quan Cosby and that devastating block that set up the td that put as ahead. Chris Oogbnaya peeling off some great runs in the second half, including a 64 yard run that iced it. Brian Orakpo just abused the OK ot blocking him in the second half maybe his greatest game as horn. He would have had a lot more sacks but the sooner ot was holding out of desperation. Will Muschamp made fantastic second half adjustments we managed to stop Gresham and Murray in the second half and when we did that we finally started to getting to Bradford. Great shot of the qb's shaking hands after that game. And while we may have been wronged at the end of the season by not getting into the title game we got redemption because we won our BCS bowl game and they lost in the title game.
