For those that did not like Greg davis as OC at Texas,He is the present OC at Iowa,12-0,# 4 in playoff rankings and I would say doing quite well.

Iowa's undefeated season has a lot more to do with (1) a pathetic schedule, above all else (no Ohio St., Michigan St., or Michigan, and no OOC heavyweights), and (2) a good defense (18th in scoring defense, 19th in total defense, 15th in yards per play allowed, and 10th in turnovers forced) than it does Greg Davis's first even decent offense with the Hawkeyes (37th in scoring offense, 62nd in total offense, and 44th in yards per play).

That's all true, but it doesn't mean that some factors haven't played a bigger role in their going undefeated than others, which is really all we're talking about. Any Texas fan would obviously trade seasons with them in a nanosecond.

Texas won in spite of GDGD, not because of him. I imagine that Iowa is doing much of the same right now. We've been there, done that, and got the t-shirt. Nothing he does now will ever change the fact that none of us want him back here.
