1 game back from the Rangers. Tied with the Blue Jays and 2.5 games ahead of the Red Sox in the wildcard. The Astros go into a 3 game set before travelling to the Bronx to take on the Yankees. We need to get some pitchers right and the hitters right and maybe add a player or two before the fast approaching deadline. I think we can pretty much say we are on the back stretch of the season.
As of now the Astros are throwing JP France tonight and Framber Tuesday and Wednesday is currently TBA.
Bielak is down and some other moves
At some point the Astros might add Singleton to the 40-man and bring him up but that ain't today
Here is the supposed OF glut the Astros have, I think the number is the ranking of Astros prospects, it is crazy that Leon is #19 while he is probably the most MLB ready.
