Right hand and foot went numb for 4 hours. We were at a Mother's Day family event and didn't know or wanted to make an issue to anybody. Saw my GP today and after hearing all of my symptoms (high BP, lethargic, low grade fever, and obvious numbness on one side of my body) is pretty sure that's what it was. He's expedited at CT scan (my appt wasn't until 4:00 today) for tomorrow. After listening intently to the seriousness of my Dr.'s tone and my research, I'm kinda freaked out. 20% lead up to a major stroke. Honestly, if I'm gonna go, I'd just rather go. I don't want to be a vegetable. Anyone else had this?
Had a TIA (mini stroke) on Sunday - Update, had a real stroke.
