He has always been a democrat and typically falls in line with most of the democrat platform.
We spent most of our 40 minute convo talking about the state of the world as it relates to Jews. He has aunts and uncles in Israel (Tel Aviv) who are considering coming to stay with family here for a while. Said he was aware of the heavy antisemitism in that region and Eastern Europe but is surprised at what he is seeing in Western Europe and absolutely shocked the levels being expressed here.
Toward the end of our call I asked him: “Has the last week changed your mind about The 2nd Amendment?”
His answer: “Fvck yes it has.”
It’s funny how so many feel guns are terrible and unnecessary for civilians to own. That is until humanity shows its ugly side without remorse and it’s right down the street from you and not 3K miles away.
