What I thought to be a small, stubborn blackhead on my cheek was confirmed to be basal cell carcinoma. I'm set to go in this Sat early AM for the procedure, which I'm told could last 3 to 6 hours depending on the analysis of what's removed on the first "cut" and if it'll require further work. I hope the wound isn't much larger than the affected area but who can say. I'm curious as to if any OB's have had it before, the duration and how their wound healed over time.
Has anybody had a MOHS procedure done?
