I never even heard of this until they had a documentary about this on Netflix last week. I had no idea this was not just a national trial but an international trial.

But this is a truly evil man in fact they said going back to the great grandfather it was 4 generations of evil. To kill his wife and son for no reason. He's also an evil embezzler. He's a drug addict who had enough oxycontin to kill 1000 dope friends.

He got life without parole. Good. He now has 99 that's right 99 charges of financial wrongdoing. His other son's a murderer the one that's still alive. And it's only matter of time before he goes to prison.

4 generations of evil.

Apparently his financial empire was crumbling. He had massive debts.
His family controlled that area for over a 100 years. 4, soon to be 5 generations. Each of the previous generations had mothers who birthed sons that managed to keep the kingdom intact. Then here comes his wife. She's the entitled cvnt that other entitled cvnts look to for lessons in being an entitled cvnt.
She turned her sons into little versions of her. Add into that equation the fact that she wanted private jet rides everywhere, Gucci, gold, and thought everyone existed to serve her-- and now you have a husband that can't simply run his empire like his forefathers, nope-- he's got to steal to keep her lifestyle up to par.

Now mix in the drugs. He was hooked on Oxy.
Why?
To dull the pain of having a cvnt wife and two sh!tbag kids.

I watched the documentary on Netflix and kept up with the trial. He was 100% guilty without a doubt. Takes a real shitbag to kill your wife and son. If you have that big of issues, just walk away and get a divorce. There’s also another documentary on HBO Max I need to watch.

That’s the most ridiculous reasoning to kill your wife and son. If it’s that bad just walk away. Also she was unaware of all that money he was stealing for the longest time as well. She also didn’t know about his opiate addiction and she was on the verge of finding out so that’s why he killed her.

You mean like Henry VIII did? One of the most powerful men in the history of the world---- did he "just walk away"?
Nope.
And therein lies part of the problem with Alex. Blue bloods (Yankee family dynasties) that go to Harvard or Yale or Princeton for 8 generations expect their sons to follow suit. The first generation not to meet those expectations are considered shameful by the family. "The blood is growing thin"-- is the expression they use.

That's the pressure Alex put on himself. He fulfilled his part- went to law school, ran a law firm, was in line to be the next great "Murdaugh".... then his soulless ginger boys grow up.
One seems to be a closeted gay or gay basher. There's a reason cops haven't found that gay kid Steven Smith's killer yet... and the youngest, who Alex had high hopes for since he now knows his oldest son likes weiner instead of clam, is the very definition of "entitled little sh!tbag".
Alex failed. He failed his forefathers. He married a shrew who gave birth to a gay one and a rotten one.
And as King, when you don't like what your Queen pops out- you kill that b!tch and try again.

And he hired a hit man to have himself killed and the dude failed.
Wouldn’t that be weird knowing there is a guy out there who is going to kill you and you don’t know when it’s going to happen?

And then there was the maid who was killed and this one without cause. She was the only one who cared about Paul. They'll probably never find out who killed her.

Then he tells the family he will sue himself. I don't understand that but he won a 4.3 million dollar settlement for her family and took all of it.

It was said the oldest son had a relationship with Stephen Smith and killed him. Tried to make it look like a hit and run.

And this all started with Mallory Beach. And in this case it was the grandfather who tried to make it go away. He was counting on that they would never find the body. He had compromised law enforcement assisting him. Then they found the body. The grandfather was probably involved with making the Stephen Smith case go away.

I read that dating as far back as the patriarch they were the law in southwestern South Carolina. Oh and the surviving soon got kicked out of the University of South Carolina for plagiarism.

And this is just the top of the iceberg.

Alex killed the maid because she knew about his pill addiction and he was afraid he was about to tell his wife. He also took all the insurance money and gave none of it to her family. Guy was a real piece of shit.

Stevens Smiths killer was his son Buster. They just never indicted him because the family had so much power and they were scared of them.

And his oldest Buster was the one he was closest with. He had no ill will towards him because he followed in his path and went to law school. He got expelled for plagiarism though. They were still really close though. I don’t remember seeing anything about him being gay though.

I'm thinking it was the wife that killed her.
