Have we gotten away from those quick RB passes?

I noticed it against Clemson too, but I feel like we’ve gotten away from those quick passes to the rbs in space behind the line of scrimmage that get labeled an “extension of the run”.

Hard to remember but I only recall maybe 1 total yesterday, and remembered thinking this after Clemson as well (although I think it was probably more due to the success we were already having handing off to the backs).

While I know no one wants to hear “passes to the flat” those have always been a big part of sarks offense, and they’ve been good plays for us, with the back normally needing to beat one man, or with enough space/speed at least get us 4-5 yards.

End of day, where were the backs in the passing game yesterday? That seems like a huge part of our offensive identity this year that was just absent, and I have to think that additional threat helps open up our run game.
