Can I be real with y'all for a second?
This verse helped me through the last four years.
I used to wonder how in the world America could degenerate from being the most admired country in the world, to an international laughing stock.
I remember how we were taught to look up to Presidents as role models. But we were dealt the worst example of a human being.
It didn't make sense to me, but I kept my head in my Qur'an. For Allah makes no mistakes.
There had to be a greater reason, and here we are.
"Patiently, then, persevere - for the Promise of Allah is true, and ask forgiveness for your faults, and celebrate the praises of your Lord in the evening and in the morning."
Inshallah.
I do pray that we come together as a nation. All colors. All religions. All backgrounds. We are ultimately God's children. I'll leave us with a prayer for President Joe Biden, President Donald Trump, and the rest of America.
As much as I have criticized and said bad things about Donald Trump, Allah please forgive me - as you will deal with him accordingly. I pray for everlasting peace for Donald Trump, Melania, and the rest of his family.

Bismilahi rahmani rahim [In the name of Allah, the Most Beneficent, the Most Merciful]
Alhamdu Iillahi rabbil alamin [All praises are for Allah, the Sustainer of all the worlds]
Ar-rahmanir rahim [the Beneficent, the Merciful]
Maliki yaumi din [Lord of the Day of Judgment]
Iyaka na'budu wa iyaka nastain [You alone do we worship and You alone do we ask for help]
Ihdina siratal mustaqum [Lead us along the straight path]
Siratal Iazina an amta alaihim Ghairil maghdubi alaihim wa lad-dalin [The path of those upon whom You have bestowed Your favors, not of those who incurred Your wrath, nor (of those who) went astray!
