Most of the talking heads are treating us as if we’re some TCU-like team that simply lucked into this deep playoff run. We’ve been counted out by almost every major analyst from what I’ve seen. The only people giving us a chance, is us.
Here’s why that’s concerning if you’re an OSU fan:
We are one of maybe 3 other rosters in the entire country that legitimately stack up against OSU. Position by position, there’s no way you can say they flat out dominate us across the board. They might have advantages here and there, but so do we. We also have a rockstar staff and a head coach in Steve Sarkisian who genuinely seems to coach better as the underdog than he does as the favorite (and he does a pretty stellar job as the favorite typically too). This is a roster full of STUDS and 5-star athletes who are going to be pissed off and playing out of their minds due to the disrespect, and the fact that we are one single game away from an opportunity at all-time greatness.
I absolutely LOVE the way we’re being talked about and I hope it stays that way right up until kickoff. We have some mfing DOGS on this roster, and they are going to be hungry when they hear that dinner bell ring. All season outside of both Georgia games I’ve felt weirdly at peace and void of anxiousness regarding the result of each game, which is not something I’ve experienced a lot over the last 15 years or so. I feel calm and confident about this game as well. Time to shock the nation once again. This is going to be an all-timer my friends🤘🫡
