Well I am my boss so yes. I'm just saying if a coach has decided to leave tell your players your leaving. Coaches preach loyalty, family, etc and most of them leave and don't even say "hey I'm leaving nice knowing ya".

Did Herman leave without telling his former students/players bye? I thought he said he cried when telling them he was leaving.
I don't know. There were reports saying he had told them he was staying. Who knows. I was just saying if he left without telling his players(as other coaches have done) I think it's the wrong way to handle things.
I'm pretty sure at the press conference he said he cried while telling them bye. Look I'm not so sure about this hire but like I said last week I'm going to support who we hired and I truly hope he gets UT back in the game. No matter how much you dislike this it happened and it's time to just get on board because Strong isn't coming back.
He told them after the deal was finished. You have to understand that contract negotiations are very slippery, especially if more than one school is involved. Just a few days ago everyone is upset about how our administration is incompetent because no one could keep their mouth shut. Look how big of a mess the LSU leak caused and that was done intentionally by someone. Look at all the Saban stuff that happened last time. Now imagine if he tells the players he is going to leave and one of them gets on twitter and says something. It could really screw stuff up. You don't tell anyone who doesn't need to know. My opinion is that he handled it great and got what he wanted in the end which shows his competence. The players will get over it and it's not a bad lesson to learn in life anyway.
