In the 89 years since the major college football polls (first only the AP Poll in 1936, then the Coaches Poll was added in 1950) have been in existence, UT has only finished, by my count, in the top 4 in either poll, eighteen times now. Just finished 3rd in the final 2024 Coaches Poll.
IMO, reading this record is a good exercise in football history for any fan, as is doing a search for any school's "year by year historical football record".
