Notables

• THIS IS CRAZY: With Alabama moving to No. 2 in this week's AP poll, the Crimson Tide will be the FOURTH DIFFERENT team to visit Moody Center this year that has reached at least the No. 2 spot in The AP poll. Auburn was No. 2 when the Tigers played in Austin earlier this year before moving up to No. 1 the following week. Tennessee was No. 1 when the Vols played in Austin in January. UConn was ranked as high as No. 2 earlier in the season before the Huskies visited Moody Center in early December.

• FAB FROSH: Freshman G Tre Johnson, who currently leads the SEC in scoring (19.0 ppg), has recorded 21 assists against just six turnovers over the last five contests entering Tuesday's game in Austin. Johnson has reached double figures in scoring in 21 of his 22 games played and has topped the 20-point mark eight times this season.
