• CALLING BATON ROUGE: Texas will play its first contest on LSU's campus since a 63-61 overtime loss to the Tigers on Dec. 19, 1998. The two teams have met five times since that date, with four matchups coming at neutral sites and one game in Austin.

• IMPRESSIVE FRESHMAN: Tre Johnson, who earned SEC Freshman of the Week honors on Monday for the second time this year, posted his seventh 20-point effort of the season with his 22-point performance at No. 23/23 Ole Miss on Wednesday, Johnson currently leads the SEC in scoring (19.0 ppg) while converting 37.3-percent (47-126) from three-point range and 88.2-percent (60-68) from the free throw line.

• KALUMA TOUGHS IT OUT: Senior F Arthur Kaluma, who missed last Saturday's game against No. 13/13 Texas A&M with a left knee injury, returned to the court and posted 12 points, a game-high seven boards and tied his season high with four assists in 36 minutes during Wednesday's contest at No. 23/23 Ole Miss.
