We went to see the Turnpike Troubadours in Little Rock last night. The opening act was someone named Charles Wesley Godwin, I had never heard of him. He came out with his band and put on a show that reminded me of what I expect some Jr High kids would think might pass bor rock and roll behavior. Endless head banging, axe chopping, floor sliding, amp standing and mugging beyond any I have ever seen.
When it came time to intro the band, he called out the bass player and said we graduated from UWV together and they commenced to doing the "horns down". Then he went on to say how blessed they were to be rid of UT and how sad it was that Arkansas was going to have to put up with them now, but good riddance.
It only reinforced my opinion of this ass clown.
