@@@@@ HOUSTON ASTROS vs Windy City South Siders @@@@@

Lest we forget, the team has taken facts like over half our relief staff is on IL, Brantley and Alvarez have been on and off IL, Tucker recently with the sick, Aledmys Diaz as our super sub on the IL, our bu catch Jason Castro just off IL, LMJ just off IL, Framber Valdez recently back from a broken finger, and now Alex Bregman on IL for no idea how long, and yet this team just keeps ticking against all the best teams in baseball.

Sorry for the run-on sentence @UTeach!

Even with all that we ae positioned right at the top of the AL along with the other 4 top teams.

If there was ever a team that deserves a little respect it is this team.

If there was ever a team that deserves a little buy-in from its majority owner and its GM it is this team.

Come on guys, go get this team a little bullpen help and make this team the favorite from the AL to win it all.
I feel like I’m being graded on my writing every time I post by @UTeach.

Lynn is a bitch and not nearly as good as he or his fan base thinks he is.
His numbers vs teams speak for themselves.

Little side note story to this thread in honor of Father’s Day.
My Dad grew up in Chicago, so I adopted his baseball team growing up, the White Sox, along with the other Chicago teams other than the Cubs.
I was raised in San Antonio and went to UT so I grew up on the Spurs and Longhorns as well.

Anyway, my Dad and I were at the 2005 World Series game 4 when the Sox clinched. We debated going to game 5 to see the Aces pitch, would have been Rocket vs Mark Buerhle, but we couldn’t take the chance of there not being a game 5. We were in shock that night when the Sox won it and he cried like a baby. Every Astros fan in our section shook our hands and said congratulations on their way out. We went behind the Sox dugout after the stands cleared out and his brother in Chicago was able to see us on the TV broadcast waving and celebrating! One of my fondest sports memories with my pop.
As an aside, I’ve always followed the Astros and Rangers as a Texan and general fan of baseball. The most recent game I took in with my Dad, which also included my 8 yo son, was at Minute Maid with Keuchel pitching for the Astros against the Sox. Keuchel pitches for the Sox against the Stros today on Father’s Day. Great to see both of these teams competing at the same time again!
