Setting aside the expected (and appropriate) comments about how fvcked up the organization is, I have an ounce of blind faith that they might actually do a few smart things this off season. Here's a few assumptions.
1) Brock Purdy is the starting QB in SF next year.
2) Jimmy G is elsewhere.
3) Bryce Young is the #1 player taken in the draft.
4) CJ Stroud not worth the #2 pick.
What would SF want for Trey Lance? Coming off injury would they be willing to part with him on the relative cheap? Would the Texans' top of the 2nd draft pick and maybe a later round pick be enticing?

Stud WR or run stuffing lineman at #12.
DeMeco Ryans HC.
OC from the Shanahan tree (who would know Lance).
Wouldn't be bad IMO.
