How do the school’s contracts affect NIL deals for individual athletes?

As a Nike school, our athletes wear Nike uniforms, shoes, other equipment, etc…

Let’s say a competitor (eg, under armour, or whatever) wants to offer an advertising deal to a guy like Kelvin Banks. Could he appear in print/online ads, tv commercials, etc.?
