Based on w few people claiming they have been scammed, what is the best way to avoid it? Suggestions? How does a typical transaction occur? thanks,

Knock on wood, I’ve been buying and selling off here for a decade. Never had any issue. I can usually tell if the transactions are gonna work out from the first text though. Don’t be afraid to move onto the next guy!

I haven't had any issues either but can understand the trepidation as well.

I have had no problem with buying tickets here. I usually require an email confirmation and take it off the board before sending money.

Ask for seller to send u proof that he has possession of the ticket? I'm a season ticket holder and sell tickets on here to the games that I can't attend. Always have sellers show u proof of the tickets that they're selling. For example, a receipt of the season tickets that they bought from the Athletic Ticket Office.

Being contacted through DM and/or a number/email posted by the seller is reliable. Someone texting you saying that they are responding to your post needs a little further confirmation.
I have been nervous myself and have asked the seller to get on a quick video call. That have always obliged and it gave me the confidence to move forward.
